Fitness and Strength Exercises



FitnessWelcome to Martial Fury Fitness page. You will find some general information and advice for people who are beginners or those who haven't really worked out before. If you haven't ever really exercised before, or are returning to fitness training after a time of inactivity, it can be quite difficult to get back into the routine of exercising or working out.

First off, before you begin your hardcore workout plan, make sure you see a doctor and get an OK to do to so. If everything is good to go, it is best to start with a routine that you can easily accomplish without overworking your body.

It's ok to feel the soreness at first, just take a couple days off in between workouts until you are comfortable enough to exercise more consistently.

Make sure to include cardio, weight training, stretching, and aerobics into your new workout regime for best results.


AerobicsAerobics - When you think of Aerobics, the first thought that comes to mind is probably the typical aerobics classes that everyone sees on tv or at the gym. Aerobics is a form of exercise that comprises rhythmic aerobic exercise with stretching and strength training components in order to improve all elements of fitness (flexibility, muscle strength, and cardio-vascular fitness).



Circuit TrainingCircuit Training - Circuit Training is a type of interval training in which strength exercises are combined with endurance/aerobic exercises, thus giving you all the benefits of both a cardiovascular and strength training workout. Circuit training classes often incorporate different techniques from yoga, pilates, and classic exercises such as push ups, sit ups and sprinting.

JoggingJogging/Running - Running and jogging are the simplest and cheapest forms of exercise that anyone can do. You don't need any fancy equipment or an expensive gym membership, just get yourself a good pair of shoes and go. Jogging and Running are great ways to develop cardovascular health as well as maintaining an all around healthy physique.

 

Martial ArtsMartial Arts - Training in any type of Martial art is a great way to achieve a higher level of fitness, state of mind, and also a definite solution in helping relieve stress. There are many different styles of martial arts to choose from. Many classes also provide a healthy form of disclipline which for children and adults.

PilatesPilates - Pilates is a physical fitness system that was developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates. Pilates wrote at least two books about the Pilates method: Return to Life through Contrology and Your Health: A Corrective System of Exercising That Revolutionizes the Entire Field of Physical Education.

SwimmingSwimming - Swimming is probably one of the best exercises for someone to get into. You are you getting a great full body workout, and on top of that, you are not putting any impact on your bones and joints like you would be from running or playing any other sport. Swimming is a great form of exercise for people who are recovering from an injury, or for women who are looking to get some exercise during pregnancy.

Weight TrainingWeight Training - Weight training is a common type of strength training for developing the strength and size of skeletal muscles. It uses the force of gravity (in the form of weighted bars, dumbbells or weight stacks) to oppose the force generated by muscle through concentric or eccentric contraction. Weight training uses a variety of specialized equipment to target specific muscle groups and types of movement.
